Description
How can you tell if a building is a genuine Victorian Home? The house will have "gingerbread" decorative trim, an asymmetrical facade with a round or octagon-shaped tower, wood and/or stone exterior, and is often painted in multiple colors.
A Victorian is large, often three stories high topped with steep roofs supported by classical columns and balustrades. And, of course, a grand Victorian would have be built between 1837 to 1915. This beautiful home with original, antique glass is one of the Painted Ladies on "Postcard Row" in San Francisco, California.
