Description

Did the Koala row the boat which brought the Tharawal people to Australia? They say so.

Dreamtime stories of the koala are woven throughout the mythology of indigenous Australians. Tribes in both Queensland and Victoria have regarded the koala as a wise animal and sought its advice. Bidjara-speaking people credited the koala for turning barren lands into lush forests.

Perhaps the koala is magical since I don't know anyone who isn't drawn to these amazing, endangered marsupials.
